Advancing Orthopaedic Care through education

Dr. Kash Akhtar is not only a leading orthopaedic surgeon but also a passionate educator dedicated to nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals.

As a Reader in Orthopaedic Surgery & Surgical Education at Barts and the London School of Medicine & Dentistry, QMUL, Dr. Akhtar plays a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum and guiding the academic development of aspiring surgeons. He is the Course Director for the International Masters in Orthopaedic Trauma Science, where he brings his extensive experience and innovative teaching methods to an international cohort of students.

Kash Akhtar is regularly invited to lecture and teach globally on all aspects of sports knee surgery, medical education and surgical innovation. He has published and presented widely in these fields, with over 100 podium presentations.
